Where did we start?
From the moment our company was founded, we have specialized in the production, storage and transport of various types of pallets.
In the beginning we dealt with pallet trade, pallet renovation.
We started pallet production 15 years ago, and now we have our own factory –
where we still work with 20-22 dedicated employees.
We have a new purpose – let’s produce less waste!
5 years ago, we asked ourselves
what alternatives to wood could be used in the production of pallets to avoid further environmental degradation.
Sustainability overrules everything
We focused on developing the production technology of environment conscious, hygienic and safe pallets as far as usability is concerned.
We started using used plastic. We bought machines and carried and are carrying out research to this day.
We found that injection molded plastic pallets are very expensive to produce.
This led us to the idea to make the elements separately.
We have experienced and improved for the good cause
We contacted the University of Miskolc, where they were very open to our initiative and pointed out that there was a difference between plastic and plastic.
After that, we became also aware that the “all in” process was an impractical route because where different plastics are joined together, they get weakened, leading to a deterioration in quality, especially brittleness.
We already had the knowledge that there were some plastics that cuold not be mixed. The proportion in which they are mixed is also an influencing factor, because the process changes their properties.
For example, if it is mixed at 50-50%, it may be pliable, but it breaks easily.
We can determine which materials can be mixed together at all, and there is technology for sorting them.
A tensile strength test should also be carried out to obtain accurate data on how much weight the plastic pallet can support.
Where are we headed?
We are on a mission to bring the basic transport tool, pallets, to the market in planet-friendly quality – at affordable prices.
The aim of our foundation is for our small team to develop a technological patent that guarantees the automated production of pallets in a fast, precise, economical and completely environmentally friendly way.
To achieve our goal, we need funding, to expand our pool of experts and to carry out more research in cooperation with the University of Miskolc.
